UK Dependent Visa: bringing your spouse and children

Since January 2024, only research-based postgraduate students (PhD, DPhil, other doctoral research) and government-sponsored students can bring dependents on the Student route.

Skilled Worker route still permits dependents at all salary levels. Financial requirement: £845/month per dependent, held for 28 days pre-application.
