Public universities charge no tuition. Here's what you actually pay and how to prove funds.

Most public German universities charge only a semester fee of €150–350 covering admin and public transport. Baden-Württemberg is the exception at €1,500/semester for non-EU students.
You must open a Blocked Account (Sperrkonto) with €11,904 for 2024 to prove living funds. Deutsche Bank, Fintiba, and Expatrio are common providers.
