Letters of Recommendation: choosing the right recommenders

Admissions committees can spot a generic LOR in seconds. Pick recommenders who can name a specific project you did, a paper you presented, or a decision you made under pressure.
Give them a one-page brief: the programme, the deadline, three achievements you want highlighted, and your draft SOP for context.
