GRE vs GMAT in 2026: which one for MBA and MS applications?
GRE now accepted at 1,300+ business schools. Here's when GMAT still wins.

For MS programmes in STEM, GRE remains the standard. For MBA, the GMAT Focus Edition (2024+) is still the preferred test at M7 schools, though GRE is widely accepted.
GRE quant is easier; GMAT quant tests business logic. If you're stronger in verbal reasoning, GRE usually gives a higher percentile.
